The fuel prices are soaring across India, with petrol prices crossing the 103 rupee mark in New Delhi.
On Monday, India registered the 12th hike in fuel prices since March 22. The petrol prices were hiked by 40 Paise per litre taking the total hike in the past twelve days to Rs 8,40 per litre.
On April 04, the petrol prices in Anantnag stood at ₹107.95 a litre and the diesel prices have climbed to ₹91.35 a litre.
In Srinagar, the petrol prices after Monday’s hike is being sold at ₹108.97 per litre and the price of diesel has gone upto ₹92.17.
The hike has caused anguish among the general public.
