PM Modi’s Srinagar rally: After exams, driving tests scheduled tomorrow postponed

Following the postponement of exams by the Kashmir University, the Central University of Kashmir has also postponed all exams slated on Thursday, the day of PM Modi’s rally in Srinagar.

Massive security arrangements have been made for the visit of the Indian Prime Minister across the Kashmir valley, with Srinagar seeing multi-level security and barricades at several places.

The Bhartiya Janta Party has said that around two-lakh people will attend the rally of the Prime Minister, while the opposition parties have said nobody is looking forward at the PM’s rally in Kashmir, other than those close to BJP.

Amid the restrictions and postponements, the Jammu Kashmir State Board of School Education announced that board exams for class 10th board scheduled for the 07 March, 2024 have been postponed.

Latest to the cancellation and postponement list is the driving skill test for Srinagar district.

In an official communique, the RTO Kashmir said, “Tomorrow’s driving skill test of Srinagar district is cancelled and same shall be held on 11-03-2024 (Monday). In addition fitness/inspection of vehicles at BOI, Srinagar is also cancelled.”
