Bandipora police continuing its drive against the menace of drugs today arrested a drug peddler at Quilmuqam Aloosa and recovered contraband substance Proxywel Spos tablets from his possession.
Acting on a specific information, a police party of Police post Aloosa led by I/C PP Aloosa S I Shakeel Ahmad under supervision of DySP Hqrs Bandipora Mohammad Idress-JKPS, during naka checking at Quilmuqam Aloosa arrested one person along with 300 Tablets of Proxywel Spos.
The accused has been identified as Fida Hussain Mir S/o Mohd Shaban Mir R/o Ward No. 06 Bandipora.
During preliminary enquiry, it was revealed that the recovered drugs were meant to be supplied to youths of the area to make them drug addicts.

Accordingly case FIR No. 121/2021 under relevant sections of NDPS Act was registered in police station Bandipora and further investigation has been taken up.
