The Jammu Kashmir Police acting upon a specific input, laid down a Naka near Daksum rea in Kokernag area of South Kashmir’s Islamabad (Anantnag) District on Saturday.
During the checking at Naka, a bootlegger was arrested near Gohan Village on Daksum road and illicit liquor was recovered from his possession.

The bootlegger identified as Javid Ahmad Dar, a resident of Pandobal Kokernag was arrested and taken into detention.
A Police official speaking to The Kashmiriyat said that a case FIR Number 118/2018 under relevant sections of law has been registered in Police Station Kokernag and further investigation has been taken up.
