Continuing its efforts to eradicate the menace of drugs from society, police have booked a notorious drug smuggler under NDPS Act in Sopore. Besides, a drug peddler was arrested by Police in the Batpora area of Sopore.
The notorious drug peddler Muzaffer Ahmad Bhat @tanga R/o Badshah masjid Sopore has been booked under PIT-NDPS Act after obtaining formal detention orders from the competent authority.
Also, the Police station Sopore attached residential property which has 06 Marla land in the Batpora area of Sopore.
The booked drug smuggler has been detained and subsequently lodged in Central Jail Kot-Balwal Jammu.
The said person was involved in a number of NDPS cases at police’ station Sopore and NCB Jammu
