Police Destroys Poppy cultivation spread to over 27 kanals of Land in Anantnag

Anantnag police starts its drive against contraband cultivation to root out the menace of drugs, destroyed poppy cultivation spread over 27 kanals of land in villages of Badroo and Liver.

On the strict directions of SSP Anantnag Shri Imtiyaz Hussain, a police party of Police station Srigufwara headed by SHO Srigufwara along with revenue and excise departments, destroyed huge poppy cultivation.

Community members are requested to come forward with any information regarding cultivation of contrabands in their neighbourhood. Persons found indulging in drug peddling & cultivation of contraband substances shall be dealt as per law.
