A police officer was found dead under mysterious circumstances in Humhama area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Wednesday.
Sources informed The Kashmiriyat that a Sub-Inspector of Jammu Kashmir Police identified as Abdul Hamid Din was found dead in a hotel at Humhama in Srinagar.
Hamid is a resident of Trikanjan area in North Kashmir’s Baramulla District and was posted with Anti Hijacking wing of police at Srinagar Airport.
The Police has taken cognizance of the incident started investigation into the matter.
Meanwhile they said that as per initial investigations it seems that the officer has died due to a cardiac attack.
