Police in Zainapora, Shopain have arrested a drug peddler and recovered 10kg fukki (poppy husk) from his possession. A vehicle bearing number JK13A-3927 was also seized.
The police arrested one person while the other managed to escape. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Javeed Ahmed Dar S/O Abdul Rasheed Dar.
The J&K police have registered a case under FIR number 63/2021/8/15-29.
Acting on a tip-off, J&K Police laid a trap at the Zainapora area of Shopain, arrested the drug peddler, recovered 10kg Fukki and seized the vehicle.
