In a bid to end her life, a girl jumped into Nallah Sindh on Sunday afternoon, however she was rescued by the Local Police.
A girl (name with held) who is a resident of Ramwari Gund area in Ganderbal on Sunday afternoon made a unsuccessful attempt to end her life by jumping into Nallah Sindh for unknown reasons.
Soon after receiving the information Police party from Police station Gund reached the spot and after hectic efforts they rescued the girl alive from gushing water with the help of locals, A Police official told The Kashmiriyat.
The girl was shifted to PHC Gund from where doctors referred her to SDH Kangan for further treatment.
Meanwhile police has registered a case in this regard
