The Jammu Kashmir Police responded to a report published by The Kashmiriyat early morning on Monday about a youth who has gone missing from Pooniwah area in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
In its press release, the Jammu Kashmir Police has said that On 03-04-2019, two unidentified persons murdered Ab Majeed Dar S/O Mohd Ramzar Dar R/O Shalipora by shooting him at point blank range at village Shalipora.

The Police said that immediately after the crime, a criminal case was registered and the Police launched an investigation, During the course of investigation, the role of a person named Irfan Ahmad Bhat S/O Manzoor Ahmad Bhat R/O Poniwah was established.
Rebutting the allegations of the family, the Jammu Kashmir Police in Kulgam said that a Police party of PS Kulgam went to the house of accused for his apprehension but his family members assaulted police party and helped him to escape.
The Police also requested the Public to help them nab the accused.
