Unnown gunmen suspected to be militants fired upon a cop in Bemina area of Central Kashmir’s Srinagar district on Saturday evening.
Reliable sources told News Agency Kashmir Scroll that militants fired upon on police cop identified as Hafiz Ahmad son of Ghulam Hassan Chat of Mathiya Bund Hamdania colony Bemina.
He was has been shifted to nearby hospital for treatment.
His condition is said to be critical.
Meanwhile whole area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers. (KS)
