A shopkeeper has been injured after unknown gunmen opened fired upon him in the Chittragam Kalan area of South Kashmir’s Shopian district on Wednesday night.
An official told The Kashmiriyat that Zameer ul Hameed aged 25 son of Abdul Hameed Bhat was shot by unknown gunmen, injuring him critically.
Zameer was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment, Locals said, adding, “Zameer, the son of a Policeman was shot at by unknown gunmen.

Around 5 bullets were heard in the area.”
Zameer, as per Locals works as a shopkeeper. His condition is stated to be critical.
Meanwhile the Government Forces have reached the locality and launched a search operation to nab the attackers.
