The Residents of Iqbal Market area of Sopore in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Wednesday staged a protest demonstration against power crisis in the area.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat said scores of people including local traders assembled at Iqbal Market of town and staged a protest demonstration over prevailing power crisis.
They raised slogans against the Power Development department and said that department had failed to restore electricity in parts of Sopore post snow which plains received the last month.
Meanwhile the protesters threatened to prolong the protests if the electricity is not restored in the area at earliest.
