‘Power supply in Kulgam to improve in 2-3 days’: Imran Nabi Dar assures

Jammu Kashmir National Conference leader Imran Nabi Dar has said that the power supply in Kulgam town will improve within two to three days.

Earlier, The Kashmiriyat had reported that Kulgam town in south Kashmir is facing frequent power cuts during Sehri and Iftar, causing anguish among residents in the holy month of Ramadhan.

Locals had said that the department has failed to ensure electricity during crucial hours, forcing many to begin and break fast in darkness.

Responding to the public outrage over the frequent power cuts, the NC spokesperson said, “There is a temporary system constraint affecting power supply due to failure at Amargarh Grid station. The issue is being resolved, and the power supply will improve in 2-3 days, Insha Allah.”
