A pregnant woman is battling fighting for life after traveling 6 Kilometers on foot, halfway to a hospital due to fresh snowfall.
A resident of Gujjar Basti in Kokernag belt of South Kashmir’s Islamabad (Anantnag) district, the lady walked on foot for more than six kilometers on snow as the administration failed to clear snow on the Hangalgund- Kandiwara- Watnad road.

Sources told The Kashmiriyat that the lady fell down unconscious before she was spotted by a few locals.
The lady was later rescued by locals who helped her reach the hospital at Kokernag.
The locals of Kandiwara appealed the Deputy commissioner of Islamabad (Anantnag) district administration and SDM Kokernag to get this stretch of road cleared at an earliest so that people do not suffer anymore.
