
A 32-year-old private school teacher allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself to death on Sunday in Khrew hamlet of Pampore area in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
An official told the news agency–Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that a youth (name withheld) who was working as a teacher in a local private school village allegedly ended his life by hanging himself with a ceiling fan at his residence in Shaar Khrew.
He said that after getting the information, the body was taken by police and after completion of medico-legal formalities, the body of the deceased is being handed over to his family for last rites.
He said that investigation has been initiated under relevant sections of the law to ascertain the exact cause of death and the reasons behind the extreme step–(KNO)
