Pro Freedom Leader Geelani’s House in Delhi Seized by Income Tax Department

Further tightening noose around the Kashmiri separatists, the Income Tax Department today siezed the property worth several crores of rupees of Syed Ali Shah Geelani in Malviya Nagar area of South Delhi.

Sources told The Kashmiriyat that Income Tax Department is going to initiate proceedings against him under the relevant provisions of the Income Tax Act.

Geelani, as per Imcome Tax Department has purchased a flat in Malviya Nagar by investing huge undisclosed income.

The team of Income Tax Department this morning reached Malviya Nagar in South Delhi and attached a well furnished flat worth several crores of rupees.

It is pertinent to mention here that the Indian Government seized the properties of several separatists and arrested many, bans have also been imposed against Kashmir groups.
