On Monday, a 22-year-old woman was allegedly raped in an ambulance by an ambulance driver and his associate after they promised her food. The incident took place in Jaipur, the police said.
As per an NDTV report, the accused drove to a secluded area where they raped the woman. The woman is married, Surendra Pancholi, the S.H.O of Moti Doongri Station, said.
Based on the woman’s complaint, a case has been registered against the accused.
The Police informed that the woman’s statement has been recorded and her medical examination has been carried out. The ambulance driver and his friend have been taken into custody and are being interrogated.
