Days after the Jammu Kashmir admin passed an order for the imposition of property taxes in the municipal areas of the region, the concerned department issued tax rates for the areas falling under Srinagar municipal corporation.
Earlier, the Jammu Kashmir administration said that residential houses having an area of less than a hundred sq feet will be exempted from taxes.
