Property worth lakhs was destroyed in a pre-dawn conflagration incident in the Soura area of Srinagar outskirts on Sunday.
Local sources told news agency Kashmir News Trust that flames emanated from the office of ‘Builders Concept’ and before the fire could be controlled by firefighters, property worth lakhs turned into ashes.
The office building that is located on 90 Feet Soura Road is owned by Muzamil Ahmed Dar.
Police have registered a case to ascertain the cause of the fire.
Sources added that firefighters, local police, and natives managed to douse the fire and thus stop it from spreading to adjacent buildings. (KNT)
