Hundreds of persons on Thursday staged a protest demonstration in against the blasphemous comments in Srinagar and Pattan township of Baramulla district in the Kashmir valley
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that people from various areas of Pattan rallied against the blasphemous remark by a Hindu priest over the last prophet of Islam.
Shouting pro Islam slogans, scores of people in Pattan market and in Nihalpora Pattan, protested on Thursday morning, in the Kashmir valley which has seen a huge eruption after the blasphemous remark by a Reasi priest in Jammu Kashmir.

The protesters were disallowed to march ahead by the officials of the District administration an Jammu Kashmir Police after assuring them of taking up the matter with the concerned officials.
In Chanpora area of Srinagar, a heavy protest was led by Moulana Mubarak rabbani, a prominent cleric who addressed the crowds.
The protesters carrying placards took to the streets in a large number demanded punishment for those fanatics of Reasi who used incendiary remarks against the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
