Scores of locals from Kupwara blocked the Kupwara-Tanghdar road at Batergam area in North Kashmir demanding the whereabouts of a 11 year old minor boy who has gone missing since yesterday morning.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that the people of the area blocked the road to appeal the police to speed up the efforts to trace the 8 year old boy.
Notably, Omar Farooq Malik aged 8 son of Farooq Ahmad Malik of Gulgam has been missing from home since 4 pm on Monday.
The Family had lodged a missing report in the Kupwara Police station.
