The Citizens Council of Tral has asked the DDC Pulwama, ADC Tral and Executive Engineer of the R&B department to provide compensation to the owners of the property that was demolished during the widening of the Tral, Dadsara Road at Mokdum Mohalla.
Speaking to The Kashmiriyat the locals said that so far not a single penny towards immediate assistance has been rendered.
Apart from this, the mechanization process will conceivably start at Mokdam Mohalla after Eid al-Adha.
The owners of the properties who have not been given any compensation said that they will not allow the mechanization process till they are provided with beneficiaries or immediate assistance.
The Council has appealed the authorities to sort out the matter and help the needful.
