At least fourty people including two minors, have been detained by government forces during raids in Tral, Awantipora, Pampore and Khrew.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that various youth have been picked up during nocturnal raids from South Kashmir areas including Pampore, Tral, Awantipora.
They said that two juveniles, 15 and 16 year old boy was picked up by forces during a noctunral raid in khasipora and Dadsara areas of South Kashmir’s Tral Hamlet.
A police official said the youth have been detained for questioning.
Nocturnal raids and detentions have escalated post the Pulwama attack on CRPF in which at least 45 CRPF men were killed.
