Pulwama Attack- Boycott Kashmiri Products, Stop Going to Amarnath Yatra for Two Years, Meghalaya Governor

February 19

The governor of the north eastern state of India Meghalaya, Tathagata Roy, has appealed the people of India to boycott visiting Kashmir in the aftermath of Pulwama Attacks.

In a tweet, Roy said that people should not visit Kashmir and also not go to Amarnath Yatra for next two years.

The ‘Right-wing Hindu socio-political ideologue’ said that the people should not but articles from Kashmir emporia and Kashmiri tradesman who every winter go to Indian states to sell Kashmiri products.

He tweeted: An appeal from a retired colonel of the Indian Army: Don’t visit Kashmir, don’t go to Amarnath for the next 2 years. Don’t buy articles from Kashmir emporia or Kashmiri tradesman who come every winter. Boycott everything Kashmiri. I am inclined to agree (SIC).”

In another tweet he said: The Pakistan Army (who are handling the Kashmiri separatists) was among their own in East Pakistan in 1971. They slaughtered and raped right and left. And they would have kept EP but for the whacking from India. I am not suggesting that we go that far. But at least some distance?.”
