One of the two Militants slain in the nocturnal encounter that raged in Pulwama’s Pinglan area has been identified.

Officials told The Kashmiriyat that one of the Militants is a local grom Pinglan identified as Hilal Ahmed Nayak.
Hilal had joined Militant outfit, Jaish e Muhammad in May last year, Sources told The Kashmiriyat.
As per officials, One AK47 and one pistol has been recovered along the two dead bodies.
They said that during the intervening night of Sunday and Monday, the forces laid a siege in the Pinglan area, during which the Militants opened fire on forces, triggering a gunfight.
In the ensuing gunfight, four soliders including a major of Indian Army’s 55 RR were killed.
The search operations are still going on in the area.
