Qazi Ahmed Yasir and a Hurriyat activist, Ashiq Narchoor have been booked under the draconian Public Safety Act early morning on Monday and shifted to a Jail in Jammu.
Sources informed The Kashmiriyat that the duo were shifted to Hira Nagar jail in Jammu after being arrested for ‘Anti State’ activities during the recent Urban Local body polls.
Ashiq Narchoor, who is affiliated with Geelani led Tehreek e Hurriyat was arrested the last week during a raid at his house in the Mattan chowk area of South Kashmir’s Islamabad township.
Qazi Ahmed Yasir was arrested by the Police during a nocturnal raid on last Sunday after he announced the call for ‘Demo referendum,’ and also had demanded the removal of Army camp at Redwani area of Kulgam District.
