At least five people were injured after being attacked by a rabid dog in Qazigund area of South Kashmir’s on Wednesday.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that a rabid dog appeared in Nagrus area of Kund in Qazigund belt on Wednesday and attacked as many as five persons in the area.
The injured persons were rushed to local hospital for treatment,
Officials at the hospital while speaking to The Kashmiriyat stated the condition of the injured to be stable.
Pertinently, the Kashmir valley as per Government stats saw a total of 20098 dog bite cases in 2017.
