The Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday visited the flood hit Kerala and met the affected people.
Rahul who is on a two-day visit to the flood hit Kerala had appealed the Central government to provide help to flood-hit Kerala.
On Tuesday, Rahul met flood-affected people at Chengannur and is also scheduled to visit flood-hit regions including Alappuzha and Angamaly later in the day.
He will also visit flood-affected areas on Wednesday.
265 were killed in the floods that hit the state on 8 August, while 36 people are still missing, according to the latest government figure.
