The personnel of Rajasthan Police have reached Noida to arrest TV Journalist Aman Chopra after three FIRs were registered against him for spreading false news.
According to NDTV, a case has been registered agaist Aman Chopra for creating enmity between Muslims and Hindus and hurting secular sentiments.
The FIR has been registered in opposition to Aman Chopra at Dungarpur Kotwali police station in Rajasthan after a complaint was filed against the TV journalist
accusing Aman Chopra of giving false and fictitious data in his news show.
Three FIRs have been registered in opposition to Aman Chopra in Bundi, Alwar and Dungarpur districts where he has been accused of sedition, hurting religious sentiments and selling enmity between two religious groups under numerous sections of the IT Act.
Police said that the Rajasthan Court had stayed the arrest in cases registered in Bundi and Alwar, however on the FIR lodged in Dungarpur district, the court has issued a warrant of arrest.
