Redwani Residents accuse forces of Vandalization

The locals of Redwani area in Quimoh belt of South Kashmir’s Kulgam District have accused the forces of Vandalization in the area.

Locals speaking to The Kashmiriyat alleged that the forces after failing to find anything during a Cordon and Search Operation in the area, vandalized property in the area.

They Said that the forces broke window panes of the houses and damaged vehicles before they were about to leave the area.

They alleged that the forces also fired shots at the civilian protesters injuring many who have been shifted to the Hospitals.

“Protests had erupted in the area when forces had launched a CASO in the area, earlier today,” a local told The Kashmiriyat over phone.

He said that the forces barged into the houses and broke everything that met their eye, adding that the CASO from the area has been called off.

Meanwhile hospital sources told The Kashmiriyat that one of the injured who has received a bullet injury on his arm is being  treated at District hospital Islamabad.

The Army spokesperson was unavailable for comments on the issue.
