A residential house in Panipora, Kulgam district, was devastated by a massive fire that broke out around 1:45 AM on Friday.
Residents told The Kashmiriyat that the blaze severely affected the home of a local family already struggling with poverty.
Firefighters responded quickly, aided by community members, but despite their efforts, the house sustained extensive damage before the flames were extinguished.
In the aftermath, locals have called on the government to provide compensation to the affected family of Abdul Rashid Najar emphasizing the urgent need for support in their time of crisis.
