Amid COVID 19, the residents of Gund Hassi Bhat, Sozait, Lawaypora are facing immense problems due to the poor ATM facility in the area.
Locals alleged that they have to travel miles to swipe their cards on different ATM’s.
Many complaints have been registered about this issue, but no action has been taken and the ATM remains closed.
Manzoor Ahmad, a local, said that from the past three weeks this ATM is defunct and the people of the area continue to suffer.
“However, the ATM guard continues to perform his duties to closed ATM,” Manzoor said.
When The Kashmiriyat contacted the branch head of Jammu and Kashmir Bank (J&K Bank) Gund Hassi Bhat Srinagar, Makbool Ahmad, he said that he will resolve this issue very soon.
“As there were some technical problems to this machine and I already mailed to higher authorities. It will be functional in the upcoming days,” he assured.
