The residents of Kelam in Qazigund were left shocked after they received power bills for amounts they had already paid.

The distribution of these bills for the second time sparked concern among consumers, many of whom feared being charged twice.
The Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE) of PDD Division Qazigund Mohd yousuf, upon being contacted by The Kashmiriyat clarified the situation.
He acknowledged the error and assured the public that it was likely due to a technical issue during the printing of bills.
“It seems to be a technical error in the billing system during the printing process. We are actively looking into it, and it will be resolved as soon as possible. Consumers are advised not to panic,” said the AEE.
