Shabir Khan

The residents of the Kralwath of Kunzer area in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district expressed anguish over the pathetic condition of the road from Kralwath to Mughama.

Speaking to The Kashmiriyat, a local resident said that the road stretches to more than four kilometers and passes through the areas of Uchlipora, Mughama and other adjoining areas and has remained in a pathetic condition for the past several years.

“Despite our repeated attempts and pleas to the admin to get the road macadamized, the admin has failed to provide us better roads,” a local resident said.

He said that the roads have developed massive potholes which make the movement of vehicles and pedestrians very tough on the road.

The anguished residents said that the roads look like a ‘riverbank’ during wet weather.

Appealing to the administration for immediate intervention, the locals said that the pathetic condition of the roads has made it tough for residents to leave for their work or other emergencies.
