Residents of Palpora Dailgam, Anantnag Face Shortage of Drinking Water

The Residents of Palpora Dailgam village in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district said that the Public Health Engineering Department has failed to provide scheduled drinking water supply to the area.

Speaking to The Kashmiriyat, the residents said that they face an acute shortage of Drinking water supply in the village. The residents alleged that they have brought the issue to the notice of the concerned department several times but the department has paid no heed to their pleas.

They have appealed to the authorities to provide them the Scheduled drinking water at the earliest so they will not face problems during Hot days.

“Water crisis has become one of the major issues in this village we do not get drinking water on scheduled timings,” A resident told The Kashmiriyat.

The Residents have appealed to Deputy Commissioner Anantnag to look into the matter and solve the problem at the earliest.

The Kashmiriyat spoke to the AEE PHE Kokernag who assured that the water problem in the area will be redressed soon.
