The Residents of Repora in Lar area of Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district staged a protest demonstration against the Public Health Engineering (PHE) and PDD department.
They blocked Sumbal -Manigam highway at Repora area of Ganderbal on Wednesday morning.
“Our locality is without drinking water and electricity from past several days. We made frequent requests in this connection before concerned authorities but to no avail,” a protester said while speaking to The Kashmiriyat.
Later, officials reached on the spot and assured the protesters that the issue would be take up with the concerned authorities.
After assurance, the protesters dispersed and vehicular movement was restored.
