Mobile internet services have been barred in South Kashmir’s Islamabad (Anantnag) District early morning on Friday after an Encounter raged in the Bijbehara belt of the District.
Telecom authorities received a communication from the Officials to bar internet in the District, Telecom officers told The Kashmiriyat.
Mobile internet services including 2G, 3G and 4G have been barred in the Islamabad (Anantnag) District.
Meanwhile Forces have been deployed in large numbers across Islamabad (Anantnag) township as a precautionary measure to avoid protests in the area.
“We are clearing off the encounter site as of yet, the identity of the Militants is being ascertained,” the SSP of Islamabad (Anantnag), Altaf Khan told.
