The Hyderbeigh-Chanderseera road stretch on eight-kilometer which connects several villages with the national highway in Baramulla is in dilapidated condition for years due to which the locals, commuters, as well as drivers, suffer.
The road from Hyderbeigh passing through Wanigam, Hurhundpora, Behrampora, Dargam, and Tilgam to chanderseera area in Baramulla is in a pathetic condition which causes immense problems to the residents.
Local residents of the area speaking to The Kashmiriyat said that the road is in such a condition that even a pedestrian cannot walk on it. “The massive potholes like canals on rainy days shows the real condition of road.”
They said that the work on the road was started last year, and at some spots, the widening process was also carried out, but unfortunately, the department could not complete it and left it incomplete, at the mercy of God.
Meanwhile, when The Kashmiriyat Contacted E-Xen R&B Baramulla, he said that due to some hassles, the work got affected, and now the matter has been cleared.
“Now we have called the agency, there was some problem of funds, we will start the work on road in next few days,” he added.
