On Sunday morning, several Russian cities of Belgorod and Donetsk republic were allegedly attacked by Ukrainian missiles, supplied to them by the United States of America.
The mayor of the Russian city said that a US-supplied HIMARS missile is what caused the damage to a Donetsk City administration building.
Threatening that a global “catastrophe” may take place if NATO wants to go to war with Russia, Vladimir Putin had on Friday addressed the press saying Russia had mobilized 2,22,000 troops and the process of mobilizing the troops will end within two weeks.
In his speech, the Russian President insisted there was no need for further mass strikes on Ukrainian infrastructure for now.
“Russia has already mobilized 222 000 troops, with about two more weeks needed to conclude the process,” he said.
Targeting Germany, he said Germany is mistaken to be more concerned with its relations within NATO than their own citizens,” adding that Turkish prez Tayyip Erdogan played a pivotal part in resolving issues such as the exchange of prisoners and arranging the grain deal.
He repeated that Ukraine was fighting America’s war and paying a heavy price for it. He said, “You have to ask [Biden] if he’s ready to talk to me. I don’t see any plans for any kind of negotiations”.
Targeting the West, the Russian president said Russia is always outraged by any attempts to cancel Russian culture. “We see it as nonsense,” he said.
The United Nations says 5,587 civilians have been killed and 7,890 wounded during the Russian invasion of Ukraine, although the estimate is likely hugely conservative.
The United States of America estimates that 70-90,000 Russian troopers have been killed by Ukrainian troopers since the war began.
