The Director General of Jammu Kashmir Police (DGP) Sheesh paul vaid today interacting with Media in Islamabad (Anantnag) District said assured that ‘peace’ will soon return to Kashmir valley.
The DGP was interacting with the mediapersons on the sidelines of the wreath laying ceremony of the cop killed in the Sirigufwara Encounter said that the operation in Sirigufwara was a success.
Reacting to a question the DGP said that strict security arrangements have been made for the Annual Hindu pilgrimage ‘Amarnath Yatra’ which will begin on June 28 and will conclude on 26 August.
He told the Media that it is the duty of everyone to make sure that the Yatris are safe and are protected. “Kashmiris have to ensure that Yatra runs smoothly this time around,” Sheesh Paul Vaid told the media.
He also said that Militancy will end soon and peace will return to the Kashmir valley. “The sooner Militancy will be done with, the sooner people will breath respite,” he said.
