Residents of Hakura village in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district block Kokernag road and stages protest against Jal Shakti Department for failing to provide drinking water supply to the area.
According to the residents they said we face acute shortage of Drinking water supply in village. The residents alleged that they have brought the issued under the notice of concern department several times but the department pays no heed to their pleas. They have appealed the authorities to provide them the Scheduled drinking water at earliest so they will not face the problems.
Residents said they are facing scarcity of drinking water but authorities are not taking any alternative to provide scheduled water supply to area.
Residents have appealed to District Administration look the matter and redress genuine problem as soon as possible.
