SDM Visits Zainapora- Asks Officials to Call Positive Patients and Provide them Medical Advice

The Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) of Shipian’s Zainapora Mr. Mushtaq Ahmad Saturday visited the sub-district hospital Zainapora and reviewed the progress of covid vaccination, testing, and contact tracing of covid positive persons.

Eyewitnesses told The Kashmiriyat that the SDM passed instructions to the concerned officials to maintain a complete record of the contacts of positive patients and their testing status.

They were further directed to call all the positive patients on daily basis who are under home isolation and give them medical advice besides sharing the numbers of the Consultant Doctor and the hospital control room with them.

It was impressed upon them to provide covid kits containing oximeter and medicines to all the covid positive patients.

The SDM also directed them to strictly follow the directions of Deputy Commissioner Shopian regarding avoidance of unnecessary referrals of delivery/LSCS patients,

At last, he thanked the people of the subdivision for their cooperation in observing corona curfew and appealed to the locals to continue the usage of masks , avoid gatherings and maintain social distance.
