Senior journalist and editor of NDTV, Sarah Jacob is the latest to join the list of journalists who have quit the channel after a share of it was taken by industrialist Gautam Adani.
Sarah’s resignation came after an NDTV clip went viral on social media yesterday. The clip showed her anchoring a news story on how prime minister Narendra Modi “shows respect towards women”.
In an e-mail to NDTV staffers, Sarah, as quoted by Newslaundry wrote, “Amazing newsroom filled with the most creative and driven reporters. I cannot thank you enough. Working with the best in the business has been an honour.”
Earlier, NDTV journalist Ravish Kumar quit the channel which was followed by a series of resignations from the channel.
