The editor-in-chief of Srinagar-based newspaper ‘Roznama Subh-e-Kashmir’, Nazir Ahmad Wani, has passed away at the age of 63 after battling a kidney ailment for several years.
Wani, a resident of Gundmancher Lolab in Kupwara who had been living in Peerbagh Srinagar, also served as the president of the Editor Association Srinagar.
Funeral arrangements are pending, but prayers will be held in Gundmancher Lolab, where he will be laid to rest.
Tributes have poured in from various sectors, including senior journalists and politicians.
