Seven cattle charred to death, residential house gutted during separate fire incidents in Kupwara

Seven cattle were charred to death and one residential house was damaged in separate fire mishaps in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.

Locals told The Kashmiriyat that on Monday fire broke out at a cow shed in Shiekh Pora in Mawar Qalamabadin belonging to a local resident Abdul Ahad Malla.

“Seven cattle were charred to death in the fire incident, which included five goats and two cows,” they said.

The immediate cause of the fire was not known.

Meanwhile, a residential house owned by Wali Mohammad Dar, son of Noor Mohammad Dar was damaged during a fire incident at Chalgund in Haihama area of the north Kashmir district.
