A Youth identified as Owais Ahmed Mir resident of Mandigam Qaziabad in Handwara area of North Kashmir was killed when Forces opened fire upon protesters in this North Kashmir area.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that several youth protested and also hurled stones when the the forces were leaving the said area after voting was over.
They said that Owais was injured when forces opened fire upon protesters in Hadwara during an anti election protest.
Owais was rushed to the hospital where the doctors declared him brought dead.
Hospital Sources confirmed the death of the youth to The Kashmriyat.
