Several leaders quit Apni party; To ‘Join Azad’s new political party’

At least twelve leaders of the Jammu Kashmir Apni Party have submitted their resignation to the party formed post the Abrogation of Articles 35 A and 370.

In a resignation letter, which was accessed by The Kashmiriyat, the following members and office bearers of the Apni Party are submitting our resignation to Altaf Bukhari and forming a new party in consultations with Ghulam Nabi Azad.

The members who have submitted their resignation include, Asgar Hussain Khanday who was the District President Apni party has resigned from Apni Party, Verinder Kumar District Gen Secretary, Promila Sharma, Vice President Mahila Morcha Apni Party, Mushtaq Ahmed Hajam, Block President Apni Party Thatri.

Among other leaders of the party who has resigned from Apni Party include Javed Ahmed Bhat, Ghulam Hussain Zargar, Ashiq Hussain Butt, Nisar Ahmed Zargar, Abdul Kabir, and Mohammed Ashraf.
