Shawwal crescent has been sighted in several parts by Ruet e Hilal Committee- a body responsible for the monthly moon sighting.
The Committee has said that Eid ul Fitr will be observed on Wednesday.
Earlier, Ladakh also decided that Eid will be observed in the region on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Muslims in Delhi will be celebrating Eid on Thursday.
Saudi Arab has sighted the moon and shall be observing Eid ul Fitr on Wednesday. Several European and Asian countries will also be celebrating eid on the same day.
