At least fifteen people including six photojournalists were injured as forces fired pellets on people near Shermal Encounter site in Shopian district.
A Photographer while speaking to The Kashmiriyat said that the forces fired pellets at them as they were covering the street protests in Heff area.
In the action of forces, six journalists identified as Nisar ul Haq, Kyser Mir, Aijaz Rashid, Junaid Gulzar, Mir Burhan and Waseem Andrabi sustained minor injuries.
Meanwhile Forces fired pellets and bullets to disperse the protesters trying to march towards the encounter site.
At least twelve youth were injured in the action of the forces near Heff area of Shopian.
The clashes had begun early morning on Tuesday when gunshots were heard in the Shermal area of Shopian district.
